ECOPRENEUR MEDIA
Ecopreneur is an all in one volunteer platform that helps schools and students
manage, track, and fulfill community service hours.
From unique bamboo-constructed phone cases to working with a development team on a back-end Bubble.io web-based application, I have had the pleasure of working with this start-up EdTech company.
When I first joined Ecopreneur, I had a long discussion with the founder, Philip, about the choice of his logo. While I thought it was a strong logo that reflected an environmental company, I knew it was time to refresh the logo. Further, in my conversation with Phil, I soon realized his vision for Ecopreneur and the older logo did not match.
We removed the large dark blue border surrounding the leaves and then added a secondary color that complimented the light green to dark green gradient. We concluded that the previous design choices constricted the company's growth while adding a teal accent color represented Ecopreneur's depth in its current business model.

The Ecopreneur one-pager represented is one of two company one-pagers that address different demographics established in the business plan – brands and non-profits' potential involvement and initial interests.
Instagram Feed
While Ecopreneur has taken a hiatus from actively posting on its social accounts, my task is to revive its image and consistent online presence; this partly had to do with the social media strategy and the frequency of news and events surrounding the company.

Ecopreneur Media Platform - Volunteer Check In
The Ecopreneur platform is now live! The previous procedure for volunteer check-in was an in-person check-in with a printed flyer that contained instructions on following social media accounts of brands, nonprofits, and Ecopreneur.
I am part of a four-person team. I work directly with the CEO, Philip; a 3-person development team from Lithuania and Dallas, TX; and a User Research (UX) consultant, Brett. My role is the User Interface (UI) designer and consulting with our UX expert. While building the user interface, I developed a website/platform style sheet and developer notes and incorporated the Ecopreneur brands and messaging systems.

Business Cards
In staying aligned with the core values of Ecopreneur, I decided it would be best for the company to purchase a tech-based business card. Using Ovou’s business card capabilities, Ecopreneur can now share contacts, emails, and social accounts with a simple tap of a prospect’s phone. Printing just one business card versus hundreds sends a positive and reassuring message that Ecopreneur talks the talk.
